We live in changing times, every day we hear someone saying that something new will change everything. Agility and speed therefore seems essential for prosperity and survival. However, if you don’t know where you are going - any road will take you there, and while practices and tactics might change, there is strong evidence supporting that marketing fundamentals will remain the same.

In these changing times, where new shiny objects are introduced at an ever increasing pace, the pressure of staying on top of everything seems almost overwhelmingly difficult. We constantly feel the risk of missing out and being left behind. You know what we say: “innovate or die!” But while some things change - other things never change. The difficulty, in a world populated with fake facts, is to identify what constitutes what, since a long term strategy can never be built on shallow claims, fads or on overnight sensations that might be gone tomorrow.

Marketing science is the antidote to the hype that is tormenting our industry at the moment, but while it has the potential to relieve us from our ignorance, it is regularly accused of being reactionary, outdated and on the contrary. It is not uncommon that the insights gained from scientific research get silenced and withheld from clients by different industry bodies with much to gain from keeping them in the dark.

That time is now over. On the 18:th of march the age of enlightenment will arrive and the scientific revolution will be reborn. We will bring you light where there have been darkness - and facts where there have been false claims. On this quest, we will be joined by some of the most prominent speakers in our industry, and we would like you to be able to see this historical event unfold live in real-time.
